I am having trouble connecting to my WiFi. I have a HP Spectre x360 Convertible. I was using the WiFi fine yesterday but then network for our area was overloaded so the WiFi stopped working for awhile. Now it is back on and other devices like my phone, tv, desktop can cannot but not my laptop. I get the error message “network does not have valid IP configuration”. I looked this up and tried all the suggestions (I.e resetting IP and disconnecting from the network). None of them worked. I am wondering if this is a problem with my hardware? Also I have the note that I have a pending download and my current version of Windows is no longer supported but I can’t use the internet to download it. I don’t know if this is the problem. Thanks

Hi
If your Laptop is the only device not connecting, you could try and put in an unused IP address yourself...
Look at the other devices and find out their details and put in an IP address perhaps 10 higher.
If in doubt please ask.
