Hello Hp, so I been having this problem for about a couple months now, and I need help. When ever I try to connect to my hotspot or wireless Internet it says can't connect to this Internet. Even if it's working for like a hour it still says the same thing. I have a Windows home Version 25 h2 and was wondering what the current network adapter driver is? And If I need anymore drivers.

HI @jeapjohn,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand you're having issues with your network connection. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and possibly resolve the problem:

Steps to Troubleshoot Network Connection Issues:

Update Network Adapter Driver:

Via Device Manager:

  1. Open the Device Manager by searching for it in the Start menu.
  2. Expand the Network adapters section.
  3. Right-click on your network adapter and select Update driver.
  4. Choose Search automatically for updated driver software.

Download from HP:

  • Visit the https://support.hp.com/us-en and navigate to the "Support & Drivers" section.
  • Enter your product model number to find the appropriate driver updates for your device.

Network Troubleshooter:

  • Run the built-in Windows Network Troubleshooter:
    1. Open Settings.
    2. Go to Network & Internet > Status.
    3. Click on Network troubleshooter and follow the prompts.

Reset Network Settings:

  • You can reset your network settings by going to Settings > Network & Internet > Status > Network reset. Be aware this will remove and then reinstall all network adapters and set other networking components back to their original settings.

Check for Windows Updates:

  • Ensure your Windows is up-to-date by going to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and clicking on Check for updates.

    I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
