Network driver needed

Looks like I need driver sp64996.exe but for some reason I can no longer download it from HP

I’ve put a fresh Windows 7 on this laptop but can’t get any network to work

Please post the hardware ID for the networking device that needs drivers.

Use this guide for how to find the hardware ID for a device.

There should be an alternative driver I can post for you, but I need to know what model network adapter you need the driver for.
