HP ENVY Notebook - 13-d005np (ENERGY STAR)
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have tried every possible solution available online and tried to search for the available drivers for my computer. The model doesn’t have any drivers that I can download so the problem continues and I can’t have any wireless internet connection. I can’t connect this portable computer with any Ethernet cable so I can’t use it. Is it possible to have the drivers for this model?

If the Wi-Fi adapter needs a driver, there will be a device listed in the device manager labeled as a Network Controller (Controlador de rede).

Find that device and post the hardware ID for it so I can figure out what driver it needs.

Use this guide for how to find the hardware ID for a device:

How to Find Drivers for Unknown Devices in the Device Manager

I read the article and I managed to install some of the missing drivers that were needed in the other devices section on my computer, but I can’t find a reference to a network controller in device manager.

Your notebook has a hardware problem with the wireless adapter because I don't see it either.

Did you have Windows 7 installed on the PC with the HP connection manager software?

The Wi-Fi may have been turned off when you did the upgrade.

You need this driver for many of the other devices that need drivers:

Intel Chipset Installation Utility and Driver

10.1.18243.818

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp101001-101500/sp101370.exe

You need this driver for the PCI Simple Comms Controller:

Intel Management Engine Driver

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp110501-111000/sp110996.exe

You need this driver for the PCI device:

Realtek USB and PCIe Media Card Reader Drivers

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp98501-99000/sp98820.exe

Thank you. I installed the drivers on my computer and most of the drivers on the missing devices are now correctly installed. I still have one unknown device and the network adapter doesn’t appear. I didn’t upgrade from windows 8 to windows 10.  I already had windows 10 on this device but a few days ago it stopped connecting to the internet. So I did a fresh install of windows 10 but the problems continued.

You're very welcome.

Then it is almost a certainty that the Wi-Fi adapter had failed on you.

Here's your options the way I see it:

Below is the link to the service manual.

HP ENVY Notebook PC (model numbers 13-d000 through 13-d099 and 13-d100 through 13-d199) Maintenance ...

The Wi-Fi card removal and replacement procedures can be found in chapter 5.

1. Try removing and firmly reseating the Wi-Fi card without having to remove the antenna wires.

Sometimes the connection from the Wi-Fi card to the slot gets oxidized and reseating the card cleans the contacts.

2. If that doesn't work, chapter 3 of the service manual has the two Wi-Fi card part numbers and descriptions.

Try and find the replacement Wi-Fi card that came with your notebook. It's either the Intel one or the Broadcom one.

You must find one with that part number or it will not work.

2. You can purchase a dual band USB Wi-Fi adapter.

I use this model which is both dual band Wi-Fi and has Bluetooth:

Adaptador USB WiFi Bluetooth 4.2 - Tarjeta de Red de Doble Banda 2.4Ghz/5.8Ghz - Dongle Receptor par...

You need this driver for the Unknown device:

Validity Fingerprint Sensor Driver

sp70236.exe

If you use the fingerprint sensor to enroll your fingerprint, you need this software:

HP SimplePass Identity Protection Software

sp71729.exe
