Pavilion G6-2213sa
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi,

I recently downgraded this laptop from the Windows 8 system provided, to a Windows 7 installation.  I now find myself missing some drivers and would be grateful if you could please help me find these.  Here are the hardware id's for the missing drivers:

Ethernet Controller:

PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8136&SUBSYS_1849103C&REV_05

Network Controller:

PCI\VEN_168&C&DEV_0032&SUBSYS_1838103C&REV_01

I would really appreciate any help you can give me with this.

Thanks in advance,

Noel

Hi Paul,

Thank you very much.  These files worked perfectly, and my network is now up and running.  After I installed the drivers and scanned for hardware changes the following two devices showed up:

PCI Device:

PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_5229&SUBSYS_1849103C&REV_01

Unknown Device

ACPI\HPQ0004

I did try to let Windows automatically find drivers, but it failed in both cases.  I suspect one is a raid controller, and I've no idea what the other is, but again I'd really appreciate your help to get the right drivers.

Thank you in advance again.

You're very welcome, Noel.

Here are the remaining drivers you need...

PCI Device:

This package contains the driver that enables the Realtek Card Reader in supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system. The card reader enables users to read from or write to supported removable storage cards, which are typically used in digital cameras, digital music players, and cellular phones.

Unknown Device:

This package provides the HP ProtectSmart Hard Drive Protection Software (HP 3D Driveguard) for supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system. The HP ProtectSmart Hard Drive Protection Software (HP 3D Driveguard) protects the hard drive by "parking the heads" if the notebook is accidentally dropped, or is abruptly impacted by another object.
