Product: HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-eg3000 (78G45AV)

Wi-Fi Network settings including wifi is missing from device manager. Laptop has no hardwire ability. This is a new PC and i see no way to get the network back without wiping and restoring.  Ok.  Not all network settings.  There are 8 WAN Minport settings under Network Adapters.

 

This appears to have happened after a windows update on Wednesday.

 

The missing wifi according to specs for the SN is...

Wireless
MediaTek Wi-Fi 6 MT7921 (2x2) and Bluetooth® 5.3 wireless card (supporting gigabit data rate) Modern Standby (Connected)
 

I have reinstalled windows and previosly tries restore points but they could not complete.

I still am unsure why this happened.  I had to completely wipe and reinstall to get network settings back.
