Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Running: Windows 8.1 x64, updated, Intel Ethernet Connection I217-V

My wired Ethernet download is half the speed of the upload.  What can be done to get this fixed?  What is the max speed will this Ethernet adapter support?

Thank you.

Hi,

Intel I217V is a gigabit ethernet nic so it should support most latest fibre optic broadbands. Just done a speedtest on my ProBook 640 G1 (Mac OS) with this nic and got the same result as with a Broadcom 4360ac wireless card.

It's either a bad hw driver or an ISP issue because I have experienced a similar issue when my download was lower than the upload. My old master socket had to be replaced in order to fix the issue. Unfortunately I don't use Windows and Intel provide a great linux support for its hardware.
