Hi@Kathymagic,
Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!
I see you are experiencing initial set up issues with the HP ENVY X360 15.6 Inch 2-In-1 Laptop PC.
I have a few recommendations
- Go to Start > Settings > Network & Internet, and turn off Airplane Mode if it was on. Restart your computer and reset your Wi-Fi router and try again. Check to see if Wi-Fi is turned on in your system. To do this, go to start > settings>network & internet, and check if the Wi-Fi is turned on.
- Right-click the wireless network icon, click Open Network and Sharing Center, click Set up a new connection or network, and then select Manually connect to a wireless network. Click Next to continue. Enter the required network security information. This is the information you used when you set up your home network.
- Go to Advanced > Wireless > Wireless Settings, and check the wireless settings. Double check your Wireless Network Name and SSID is not hided.
- Click on this link for Setting Up Windows 10 for the First Time.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
