Hi, I bought my HP Pavilion 16 af0000 on Nov 2024 from the official website, and it has been unable to connect to wifi for less than two months. The wifi icon on the taskbar disappears.
Network diagnosis show that "Ethernet cable isn't plugged in."
The Intel Wifi 6E AX211 driver in the device manager is showing yellow exclamation mark.(Sometimes I find that network controller is also showing yellow '!')
I have tried the following solutions:
1. uninstall the wifi driver and re-start the laptop, not working.
2. system extensive test, Wireless Module Test -- Passed.
3. network reset, not working.
4. run Ubuntu on a USB to check but no trace of a Wifi adapter.
I can use Android USB network sharing to get online. I also contacted 2 engineers who did remote control but still didn't fix the issue. One of them told me to do a system reinstall, I tried but also failed. Is it a hardware issue? Please suggest a solution to this problem.
Model: HP Pavilion 16-af0000
Age: about 40 days

Hi Banhien, I downloaded "Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software and Wi-Fi Drivers for IT Administrators" and "Intel® Wireless Wi-Fi Drivers for Windows® 10 and Windows 11", installed them and re-started the laptop, but still cannot connect to wifi.
