I've got the HP ZBook Firefly G8 Mobile Workstation with SIM card slot. The SIM adapter is removable so if I can believe this page: https://support.hp.com/at-de/document/c06982559#:~:text=HINWEIS%3A%20Alle%20Ger%C3%A4te%20verf%C3%BC....
, it should have a WWAN card inside.
Yet still no cellular options visible.
I already tried windows update and installing the driver manually (tried Qualcomm Snapdragon X55 5G WWAN Driver & HP XMM7360 WWAN Driver)

You're very welcome.
You may want to check the service manual and see if the WWAN antenna wires are there to install either one of the WWAN adapters yourself.
Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)
Chapter 1 of the manual does not indicate the adapter must be factory installed.
Chapter 3 has the WWAN adapter part numbers and chapter 5 has the WWAN adapter removal and replacement procedure.
I couldn't find the Qualcomm card, but I did find the Intel card on eBay.

Every HP ZBook Firefly G8 Mobile Workstation has a SIM card slot.
What 90% of them don't have is the optional WWAN adapter that is needed to connect to a cellular network.
All the SIM card does is to authorize you to use your cellular provider's network.
Intel XMM 7360 LTE-Advanced Cat 9
If you look at the document you posted, it indicates that the WWAN module is an optional feature.
Qualcomm Snapdragon X55 5G Cat 20
In order to connect to a cellular network, your notebook must have either one of the above model WWAN adapters listed in the device manager under the Network adapters device manager category.
Most likely you will not find one of the above adapters listed there.

Hey thanks for the reply!
I read the document i shared closley and the part I shared says: "Every ZBook has a SIM Card slot, but if you have no WWAN card thenit is blocked with a non removable plug."
Mine is removable so I guessed that I have a WWAN card inside.
However, you are right, I dont see a WWAN card in the device manager.
That sux because I already have a SIM and a contract...
