No drivers intalled

Hi,

My TP is t 2 days old. After installing WIndows 7 64-bit, i identified thatno drivers for other devices are installed. I am not good with drivers identification. To be specific I am mentioning the below adapters that dont have drivers:

1. BCM43142A0

2. Ethernet Controller

3. Network Controller

4. SM Bus Controller

5. USB COntroller

6. Unknown device.

All the above have yellow exclaimation mark.

Help is needed badly.

Hi

I think you have a

HP Notebook - 15-af143au

which is listed for Windows 10 only. 

So can you confirm the make and model please.

Also what Operating System did it come with?

Looks like it's  the Broadcom Bluetooth. Please try:

The unknown device may need this driver.  If that doesn't work, please post the hardware ID for the unknown device.

This package provides HP 3D DriveGuard Software (HP ProtectSmart Hard Drive Protection) for supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system. HP 3D DriveGuard Software protects the hard drive by parking the heads if the notebook is accidentally dropped, or is abruptly impacted by another object.

To find the hardware ID, click on the Unknown Device in the device manager.

Then click on the Details tab at the top of the unknown device window.

Now you will see a Property drop down list and it will be set to Device Description.

Drop down on that list and select the 2nd item (Hardware ID's).

Post the top string of characters that you see in the window.

Thankbyou Sir for your help. Unknown device: ACPI\SMB0001 is what i get for hardware ids. Sp71811.exe didnt get installed. Sp73091 fifnt get installed for BCM43142A0. Rest all got installed.

See if this version of the bluetooth driver (BCM43142A0) works instead.
