Hi there, and welcome to HP Support Community!

Thank you for reaching out with your concern about the no internet, secured issue message. I'm glad to assist you today.

The “No Internet, Secured” message typically appears when your laptop is connected to a Wi-Fi network but cannot access the internet. This can be caused by network settings, outdated drivers, or temporary glitches. Here are some steps to help you resolve the issue:

Restart Your Devices

  • Restart your HP laptop and Wi-Fi router.
  • Wait for 2–3 minutes after turning off the router before turning it back on.

Forget and Reconnect to the Network

  1. Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi.
  2. Click on Manage known networks.
  3. Select your Wi-Fi network and click Forget.
  4. Reconnect by selecting the network and entering the password again.

Run HP Network Troubleshooter

HP provides a built-in troubleshooter:

  • Open the HP Support Assistant (search for it in the Start menu).
  • Go to Troubleshooting and Fixes > Internet and Security > HP Network Check.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions.

If you don’t have HP Support Assistant, you can download it here: HP Support Assistant | HP® Support

Update Network Drivers

  1. Press Windows + X and select Device Manager.
  2. Expand Network adapters.
  3. Right-click your Wi-Fi adapter and choose Update driver.
  4. Select Search automatically for drivers.

Reset TCP/IP Stack

  1. Open Command Prompt as Administrator.
  2. Run the following commands one by one:
    netsh winsock reset
    netsh int ip reset
    ipconfig /release
    ipconfig /renew
    ipconfig /flushdns
  3. Restart your laptop.

If the suggestions helped solve the problem, please let us know by clicking “Accepted Solution.” It really helps fellow users find quick answers.

A quick “Yes” also goes a long way in showing appreciation!

Take care and happy computing!
