Hi @Umar201793,

The issue you're experiencing with your HP EliteBook 845 G7, where the date and time are incorrect and the internet connection states "no internet, secured," could be related to a few underlying causes. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:

Synchronize Date and Time

  1. Set Date and Time Manually:

    • Go to Settings > Time & Language > Date & Time.
    • Toggle off "Set time automatically" and "Set time zone automatically."
    • Set the date and time manually to ensure they are correct.
  2. Synchronize with an Internet Time Server:

    • In the Date & Time settings, scroll to Related settings and select Additional date, time & regional settings.
    • Under Date and Time, click Set the time and date > Internet Time tab > Change settings.
    • Ensure "Synchronize with an Internet time server" is checked.

Check BIOS Date and Time

  • Access BIOS Settings:
    • Restart your laptop and press the Esc or F10 key repeatedly during startup to enter the BIOS setup.
    • Check and correct the date and time within BIOS. An incorrect BIOS clock can cause issues with system time and network security settings.

Troubleshoot Network Issues

  1. Forget Network:

    • Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi.
    • Select the network you are connected to, click on it, and choose Forget.
    • Reconnect to your Wi-Fi network by entering the password.
  2. Network Troubleshooter:

    • Right-click on the Network icon in the taskbar and select Troubleshoot problems. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Check Router Settings

  • Restart Your Router: Unplug your router for a few minutes, then plug it back in and wait for it to restart fully.
  • Router Configuration: Ensure that the router is set to provide DHCP services and assign IP addresses automatically.

BIOS and System Updates

  • Update BIOS: Visit the HP Support website to check for any BIOS updates for your model.
  • Windows Updates: Make sure Windows is up to date by going to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.

Reset Network

  1. Network Reset:
    • Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Status.
    • Scroll down and click on Network reset. Follow the instructions to restart your computer.
