Product: Pavilion dv6-1355dx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

My hp pavilion laptop does not detect any wireless networks, sometimes it will connect to my home network but it loses connection shortly after. I have tried everything from rolling back drivers, to reseating the network card. Nothing works. When i press the wifi button it stays red. Please don't suggest going to a website to get drivers as i literally cannot connect to any networks.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:  

  • Step 1: Make sure the wireless key or button is enabled
  • Step 2: Update the wireless driver through Device Manager
  • Step 3: Use automatic troubleshooting
  • Step 4: Check and reset the hardware
