Hi, I can't acess to the Internet with my brand new HP Victus 16-s1034nf, even connected with the Ethernet cable, even trying to connect with Wifi.
I installed HP Support Assistant, but it doesn't find any driver to install.
I also tried to install the drivers from https://support.hp.com/fr-fr/drivers/victus-by-hp-16.1-inch-gaming-laptop-pc-16-s1000/2101821621
sp150673.exe
sp150928.exe
sp153687.exe
sp153771.exe
sp153775.exe
sp153803.exe
sp153983.exe
sp155262.exe
But nothing works.
Any clue before I send the laptop back to the seller?

I tried to install various network drivers or tools from the page https://support.hp.com/fr-fr/drivers/victus-by-hp-16.1-inch-gaming-laptop-pc-16-s1000/2101821621:
sp150673.exe
sp150928.exe
sp153687.exe
sp153771.exe
sp153775.exe
sp153803.exe
sp153983.exe
sp155262.exe
But none made the network works.

The parts list for your notebook indicates that it comes with a RTL8852BE Wi-Fi adapter.
This is the latest driver HP has for that model Wi-Fi adapter:
6001.15.154.0 08/27/2024
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp155001-155500/sp155074.exe
Now if the above driver doesn't install either, sometimes you have to manually install it from the device in the device manager.
To do that, go to the device manager.
Click on the Contrôleur de réseau device (Wi-Fi adapter) needing the driver.
Click on the driver tab. Click on Update driver.
Select the 'Browse my computer for drivers' option and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the file.
That folder will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp155074.
Make sure that the Include subfolders box is checked and see if the driver installs that way.
To get the ethernet controller to show up, sometimes you have to install the motherboard chipset drivers (hint: You should always install the chipset drivers first and restart the PC before installing any other drivers).
For whatever reason HP does not ever include the AMD chipset drivers on the notebook's support pages.
It's been that way since I joined this forum.
You can get the latest chipset driver for your notebook directly from the AMD website:
