Can I PLEASE get additional ideas/moves on how to gain simultaneous WiFi & Ethernet connection?  I've tried all I have read here.  The LAN/WLAN Switching, the RegEdit - fMinimize Connections, the Metric entries.

Right now, I have reset this laptop back to bare factory default without loading ANY files, while testing various settings.  I need this simultaneous function for my work.  Presently, I'm lugging this, and a Win 7 laptop around.

PLEASE HELP !!!

Thanks MUCH ...

Hi:

You need to have the LAN/WLAN Switching setting disabled in the BIOS.

In addition, you need to:

Go to the Windows control panel>system & security>administrative tools> services.

Stop the "HP LAN/WLAN/WWAN Switching UWP Service" and change the startup to manual.

Now both the WIFI and ETHERNET should work at the same time.
