Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi all, I have a wifi connetivity issue with my HP envy 15-ah11sa. Wifi work absolutley fine when connected to mains power but as soon as I unplug there is no access to wifi connection at all. Wifi will just not work when on battery power only.

 

Can anyone help? Its an absolute pain when I'm working remotely and can't plug it in!

Hi JP,

Try going into power options (right click on battery symbol in the lower right of desktop).

Click on "change plan settings" of the plan you are using and then click on "change advanced power settings"

Make sure that in the list under Wireless Adapter Settings > Power saving mode > Battery is set to maximum performance
