I was browsing with wifi, when all of a sudden, internet stopped working. I would just trubleshoot it and it would work for another 5 minutes, than it would stop again. After about 10 tries like that, my wifi just stopped. There was no icon to connect (the signal looking one) in the down right corner. It was replaced by that screen one. Naturally, i plugged in the cable to see whats the problem, and the internet works when its connected that way, but i would like to have a wifi option again . I have tried everything, from bios reset, to all of those links for driver installer you have posted in this and other forums... Can you please help me?
I have Presario CQ56. Only network adapter that device manager can detect is Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller, below is a snip of what i see, i know its an old notebook, please tell me what i can do to fix the Wifi connection. I am using my mobile network Wifi as a hotspot

HOW DO I USE DIAGNOSTICS?
HP PC Hardware Diagnostics Windows is a Windows-based utility that allows you to run diagnostic tests to determine if the computer hardware is functioning properly. The tool runs within the Windows operating system in order to diagnose hardware failures. HP PC Hardware Diagnostics Windows comes pre-installed on new HP computers, but if not on yours, download here:- http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp93001-93500/sp93457.exe

Copy, Paste and Save in Notepad, as LBB.bat (not a .TXT) and double click to run.
Preferably run as an Administrator.
OR copy and use the individual command lines as needed.
Post anything non-personal, but relevant please.
