Hi, so the other day i was browsing the great wide web when suddenly I diconnected from the internet, my lan light which is found on my keyboard, top right, has been orange since and my laptop doesnt even show wireless capabilty. Ive tried updating the drivers, uninstaling and reinstalling them, i have no clue what im doing wrong here. I am a writer and have lost work already following the help of others and have even completely reset my computer to factory settings. I would really apreaciate some help and with haste, thank you.

I understand that you were surfing the web when you lost your wireless and the light was orange on the keyboard. You have tried updating the drivers, uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers. Following others advice,  you rest your notebook but there was no change.  First I would test for a hardware failure. HP Notebook PCs - Testing for Hardware Failures (Windows 10, 😎 If the test come back OK then please review this post by @Great-Deku Tree.  Common fixes for wireless connectivity issues.
