Pavilion - 15-cw0598sa
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

There is no wireless interenet connection when I insert a USB flash drive (while laptop is on battery - no problem while plugged in).  The issue is only with the usb conection closest to the front, the one at the back right next to where the power cable goes in seems fine.

Help please!

Thanks.

could be the way the hardware is being initialized when the bios starts up, go in and under main in your bios find load factory defaults....do that and shut down afterwards, then restart. did you look in device manager for any exclation marks next to anything. could be a windows issue too.

Thanks for the advice, but that didn't change anything. I know someone else had a similar problem, he said something about the power draw? I'll see if ithe warranty is with HP or the store I bought it from and get a replacement.
