I am using HP-Pavilion-15-bc408TX and my laptop is not detecting 5GHz wifi band. Unable find driver in HP drivers as I am using windows 11. Can anyone help me in sorting out this issue?

The parts list for your notebook indicates that it comes with a Realtek RTL8822BE Wi-Fi adapter.

HP PartSurfer

The only suggestion I can offer would be to install the latest W11 driver HP has for that model Wi-Fi adapter:

Realtek RTL8xxx Wireless LAN Drivers

Version 2024.10.230.1

sp155768.exe

You may as well update the Bluetooth driver to the latest version too:

Realtek RTL8xxx Series Bluetooth Driver

Version 1.10.1072.3000

sp155460.exe

Hi Paul,

Many thanks for helping me out. I installed those drivers you suggested for Windows 11  but still the laptop is not detecting 5GHz wifi band.

You're very welcome.

Sorry that the latest drivers didn't work.
