Hi, this may help. You should be able to access your router and change the setting to wpa2 personal. My new router only accepts wpa3 on WiFi 6e 6ghz on a new laptop. 2.4 and 5ghz works with wpa2 only. Regards Al.

Hello again. Always good to get a new toy. It shouldn’t be necessary, normally a new router will automatically set WPA2 personal for 2.4 and 5 ghz, and if it’s 6e compatible https WPA3 for 6ghz. If the WPA2 is changed it shouldn’t affect anything but 2.4/5ghz, when I upgraded to WiFi 6e, the computer told me I was now more secure with wpa3 security. If you don’t really want to change, play with the wpa2 settings in WiFi page in your router.
