Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Does the McAfee software impede connections to printer?  I have never used McAfee before, always used Windows Defender, but new computer installation has McAfee (30 day trial).  All data shows printer and computer connecting on wifi but when I print I get error (never had that happened on other computer).  Could McAfee be interfering with connection?
