I purchased the HP Spectre Rechargeable Mouse 700 because of its dual device feature. However, I am unable to find any instructions for setting up the mouse on additional devices, i.e. two to three laptops. Mouse functionality doesn't seem to be achievable unless the transponder is plugged in. Thank you for your help.

It supports up to 4 devices. Please pair the laptop EXACTLY like the first one with the receiver on the second laptop, not on the first.
Regards.

Hello Banhein,
Thank you for responding. I’ve paired both computers with the transponder installed . The mouse doesn’t work nor does it show in the Bluetooth device list unless the transponder is installed. I found a Logitech similarly featured mouse online. I tried pushing the toggle button on the underside of the HP 700 to illuminate when the transponder is inserted. But, it doesn’t function on any of the three Bluetooth spots. Perhaps step-by-step instructions? Thank you.

I'm still trying to get help with the HP Spectre Rechargeable Mouse 700's functionality on multiple devices. The mouse only pairs and works on each laptop when the transponder is inserted. The previous respondent did not provide useable instructions. There are three Bluetooth selections on the bottom of the mouse that illuminate when toggled. I have tried pairing and toggling to the first selection, then repeating the process on a different machine, but using a different selection. Can anyone help me?

You’re right, Banheim does not appear to have answered the question. I just got my new spectre 700 mouse and though I did get it working on one device without the transponder, I find it quite frustrating that it came with no instructions and nothing is found online in setup or pairing with multiple devices?! Not impressed...HP.
Can someone please help?

I would really like to find some "step by step" setup instructions as well. I found it quite frustrating to pair it with my laptop so I finally just plugged the Dongle into the USA port. I would love some help getting this connected via Bluetooth so I can free up the USB port for other things. I have searched and searched online trying to find a manual to no avail. Other than that, I really love this mouse!

I finally got the mouse to pair with my computer - yay! My Spectre Laptop had no trouble locating the mouse but I could not get them to connect at all. After numerous attempts... I finally saw another option under settings (on the right side menu) that said "more Bluetooth options". Clicked on that and then enabled "allow Bluetooth devices to find this computer". Once I checked the box to enable it, I was able to connect easily. Whew! That was exhausting!!!
