Product: HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-eg2000 (4U8D9AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I have MediaTek MT7921 Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax networking card in my HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-eg2000. I have a Xfinity WiFi6 router with distinct WiFi6 SSID. The laptop does not even recognize WiFi6 SSID. With 802.11ax card it should be able to recognize and connect to WiFi6 band. Any suggestions on how to get this working?

More updates. When I called HP Support they were unable to resolve this. Upon digging further, I am shocked that the laptop which is advertised by HP as WiFi6 laptop does not even support the 6 GHz band. This laptop model is marketed as WiFi6 laptop. DO NOT buy WiFi6 laptops without confirming that 6GhZ band is supported. There is no way to know that without first buying one and then checking for properties of the network card in the device manager.
