Just purchased a pavilion Wireless Keyboard 600 and cannot find the way to reverse how fn key works. What I want is to hold down fn key when wanting to (for instance) lower the music volume but I cannot find the way.
I have read some people had the same issue and that a direct message from HP was sent to them in order to resolve the issue. Was there any fix to the issue yet? What can I do about that?

Hi @Pantmyl17
Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the wireless keyboard.
The f1 to f11 keys perform as either multimedia keys, or standard function keys. The default is multimedia.
To switch from multimedia to standard function, press the fn+esc keys simultaneously; this locks the keys to standard function. To switch back from standard function to multimedia, press the fn+esc keys simultaneously again.
Pressing the fn key simultaneously with an f1 to f11 key, performs the standard function.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Hi Asmita,
thank you for your reply. I have tried this already, along with several other combinations (e.g. fn and caps lock). Nothing seems to work on this particular keyboard. I have also read in other posta in the community that others had the same issue and no one has found a solution.
do you know for a fact that this option is available on the particular keyboard?

Appreciate you trying the steps. I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding this.
Have a great day!
