Personal Hotspot

I understand that this issue has been brought up before, yet I don't see an answer?  Did the HP support representatives fix this issue and if so how?

 

I need to use my personal hotspot from my Iphone to print to the above listed printer.  It was setup before using WIFI.  Now, obviously it wont print without a WIFI connection (direct).  I only have use of Personal Hotspot.

@gestradahill, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

I see that you are trying to connect the printer to the personal hotspot which is not possible. This has been answered before. Printers may not work on Hotspot/Guest networks. 

You will have to connect it to a secure wireless router.

 

If you do not have access to a wireless router, you may use wifi-direct to print. Refer to - Printing with Wi-Fi Direct

Note: There will be no internet access on the computer while using this feature.
