Hi all,

I have an aggrvating problem. Win 11 has paired my phone (Samsung  GalaxyA 23) However, when I try to connect it the phone eventually says connection impossible.

I've already look at MS troubleshooting tip and even use it's diagnostic program but those were useless.

Any other ideas or suggestions?

Thanks!

Hi @basx_000,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused don’t worry let me help you.

To better understand the issue, could you please provide a few more details?

  • Are you trying to transfer files, use Bluetooth audio, or connect for another purpose?
  • Do you see any specific error code or message on your PC when the connection fails?
  • Have you successfully connected other Bluetooth devices (like headphones or speakers) to your PC recently?

In the meantime, here are a few steps you can try:

  1. Remove and Re-Pair the Device
    • On your PC, go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices.
    • Remove your phone from the paired devices list.
    • Restart both your PC and phone, then try pairing again.
  2. Check Bluetooth Services
    • Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
    • Ensure that Bluetooth Support Service is running. If not, right-click and select Start.
  3. Update Drivers
    • Open Device Manager on your PC.
    • Expand Bluetooth, right-click your adapter, and select Update driver.
    • Choose Search automatically for drivers.
  4. Test with Another Device
  • Try connecting a different Bluetooth device to your PC. This helps confirm if the issue is specific to your phone or the PC’s Bluetooth adapter.

I hope this helps.

Thanks

Already tried 1. Doesn't work  and there's no error message at all. Headphones connect just fine

2) I don't see bluetooth support services. And no idea how to make it visible.

3) Irrelevant as there are no updated drivers

4) my headphones connect just fine.

Thanks again

Hi @basx_000,

Thanks for your response. It looks like as you mentioned headphones are connecting fine that means the bluetooth adapter are working absolutely fine no issues.
