My HP Laptop PC Touchscreen Windows 11 has constant pop-up ads of all kinds on my desktop. How do I stop these ads?

Thank you so much. The remedy you provided (which was my first response) was precisely what I needed to fix my problem. I clicked on "System", then I typed in the search bar "Notifications".

The ones from the bottom right are notifications from apps and other vendors senders.  Turn them off

Edge and Chrome and place adv and do popup but that requires  adding an extension like uBlock  Origin or Addblock+
