HP Recommended

I have an older evo 360 maybe 2018ish, and just noticed the power adapter has a constant 15w draw while charging ... nothing! Another, newer, Lenovo, laptop doesn't exhibit this planet-warming behavior. Anyone hooked a kill-a-watt device to their charging brick? Guess the charger could just be old/defective, but I feel this could also be a design flaw.
