I did, nothing works. I install the driver and then nothing happens, even with restart. I can make you a video if necessary. (also tried with driver easy, windows update) p.s. i have basic knowledge about how to set up a pc/ laptop, this happened after right after the last windows version update 21h1, until then it worked just fine.

Have you tried deleting the device out of the device manager completely including to uninstall the driver?

This sounds like the same problem I've had.  What I had to do was download the network driver from HP.  Then I deleted the realtek PCIe adapter from device manager.  Then I restarted the computer.  Then installed the network driver I downloaded from HP.  This works other than I have to install the driver about once a week as windows seems to dump the driver.  Hope this works for you.
