Hi, my name is Mark and I'm writing from Italy.
I have a little problem with the network and it concerns the LAN network. I support 1gbps and my internet network offering allows me to have in fact sometimes reached that speed. I've been noticing for quite some time that among the advanced properties of the lan card I see links to 100mbps instead of 1gbps. I've seen many forums on the web and I've changed some settings as well, but with inconclusive results. I've tried disabling and re-enabling the network and then also resetting the drivers and updating them but nothing. I also tried to change the lan cable with a "CAT 5e" and now I was thinking of taking a "CAT 6". I hope you will be able to help me. The operating system is Windows 11 Home.
Thought I'd do a fresh reinstall of windows and clean anything that may be causing problems. There are no viruses either. The only thing is that I have many programs and games installed and I don't know how to make a backup of just that, since then to restore from a backup I would have the same previous problems since the programs and files are also backed up together with the current operating system version. Forgive my English, I'm using google translate. I hope you can understand my problems and solve them. I play and work using a lot of incoming and outgoing traffic and this problem is really a big inconvenience. Thanks in advance for your help and waiting for your feedback I wish you a good job.
