Hi @HPEnvyRed,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Pavilion X360 and HP printer are experiencing connectivity issues with your T-Mobile wireless network, and you're getting a message that says you need to reset your wireless adapter, there are several steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the problem. Here's a step-by-step guide:

Restart Your Devices: Begin by restarting both your HP laptops and the HP printer. Sometimes, this simple step can help resolve connectivity issues.

Check Signal Strength: Ensure that your laptops and printer are within a reasonable range of your T-Mobile wireless router. Weak signal strength can lead to dropped connections. Try moving your devices closer to the router and see if the issue persists.

Update Wireless Drivers: Outdated or corrupted wireless drivers can cause connectivity problems. Check if there are any driver updates available for your HP laptops. You can do this by going to the HP support website and searching for your laptop model. Download and install the latest wireless drivers if available.

Reset Wireless Adapter: Since you mentioned a message about resetting your wireless adapter, you can try this:

  • On your HP laptop, press Windows + X and select "Device Manager."
  • Expand the "Network adapters" section.
  • Right-click on your wireless adapter and select "Disable." Then, right-click it again and select "Enable."
  • This will reset your wireless adapter without requiring a full system restart.

Check for Interference: Other electronic devices or appliances in your home can interfere with your wireless signal. Make sure there are no large metal objects or other devices near your router or your laptops and printer that might be causing interference.

Router Troubleshooting: Log in to your T-Mobile router's web interface and check for any firmware updates. If there's an update available, install it. Additionally, you can try rebooting your router. Sometimes, routers can become overwhelmed and need a reset to function properly.

Security Settings: Check your router's security settings. Make sure you're using WPA2 or WPA3 encryption and a strong Wi-Fi password. This can prevent unauthorized access and potential interference.

Channel Selection: In your router's settings, you can manually select a Wi-Fi channel. Try changing the channel to see if it improves the stability of your connection. Some channels may have less interference than others.

Remember to apply one solution at a time and test your connection after each step to see if the issue is resolved. Additionally, ensure that your laptops and printer have the latest firmware updates installed, as this can also improve compatibility and performance with your wireless network.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
