Product: Probook 6560b
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

The wireless adapter is Broadcom and shows up in device manager as working properly. The wifi button stays amber. When I click on the wifi icon in the tool bar it says "turn wifi back on" but nothing happens when I click on anything. I replaced the adapter with a Centrino model from another notebook and get the same result. I can connect to internet with usb adapter. I upgraded the latop to Win 10 and its the same. Thanks.

HP Recommended

Try to install the HP Support Assistant and check if all drivers are up to date (including the firmware).
