@jtedmonson42

Your machine is an HP Notebook - 15-bs020wm, its specs

              https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05847637

Manual for the series

            http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05493257.pdf

Your machine only has Intel® Pentium® N3710 (1.6 GHz base frequency, up to 2.56 GHz burst frequency, 2 MB cache, 4 cores) therefore it only has 1 slot of RAM with 4 GB DDR3L-1600 SDRAM (1 x 4 GB) now and supports 8GB max.

You can REPLACE it using the following compatible RAM

            https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr3/ct102464bf160b/ct12026234

Regards,

BH

Thanks for the reply, but task manager says I'm only currently using 1 of 2 slots?  I've attached a screenshot.  So can I just double up to two 8gb?
