I have a older HP 17" Notebook Product  E8B74U#ABA originally with Windows 8 that the BT portion of the Wireless card no longer functions.  The wireless  portion of the Ralink card works fine. The suggested cards  from this forum a couple years ago are difficult to locate. I understand the issue is with the Ralink drivers not being W10 compatible.  I have been using a wireless mouse with a USB receiver as a work around,I would like to economically  fix the BT issue with my laptop. I am looking for a  replacement. The cards suggested below are:

Dual band AC: 867 MBPS max throughput on the 5.0 GHz band with an AC or AX router.

Broadcom BCM4352 802.11ac 2x2 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.0 combo HP part #724935-001

Dual band N: 300 MBPS max throughput on the 5.0 GHz band.

Broadcom BCM943228HMB WiDi 802.11 a/b/g/n 2x2 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.0 combo HP part # 730668-001

The best card you can install in your notebook would be this one:

Broadcom BCM4352 802.11ac 2x2 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.0 combo HP part #724935-001

Is this model on a BIOS whitelist that might prevent the HP part #724935-001from installing?

HP Recommended

No, that model series does not have a BIOS whitelist, but since it has an AMD processor and chipset, an Intel Wi-Fi card would probably not work.
