HP 15-r134ci is an invalide model/product. Is it an HP 15-r134cl (lower letter L not letter i) machine ? Its specs:

Your machine was built before 2015 therefore the chance to upgrade to newer wifi adapter is very slim to none. I'm using the following adapter which support DUAL bands and I get out from it every cent

You can buy a similar one from other vendors, may be cheaper too.

No, No need to remove the old one. You machine can connect to both and it is smart enough to use the faster one as shown on my machine
