Hello, the first thing I did with my new router was change the channels that WiFi was broadcasting on. Most channels were set by the router manufacturer either 6 or 11. If you are in a crowded WiFi location your speed will be restricted by everyone on the same channel. I have an iPhone, so I use airport utility app on my phone to look at the channels. There is other software for windows, don’t know about android. I’m the only person in a block of flats using channel 100 on 5ghz, no throttling. It may be your problem. Regards Al.
