my dad had bought a HP notebook 15 and the laptop is really nice but the WI-FI is the worst thing my WIFI router is on the second level and my dad sits on the first level and the Wi-Fi is so slow and even disconnected my other laptop works fine with Wi-Fi even if both the laptop are on the same place the hp one doesn't show if there's any wifi and the other one is showing so many. is this only happening with me?

The Ralink RT3290 802.11 WI-FI Adapter is not supported on the newer builds of Windows 10 and there is no fix other than to use a USB Wi-Fi adapter that has support for W10, or you can replace the Ralink Wi-Fi adapter with this model which works OK on W10:
