Dear Sir/ Madam,
I uninstalled Ralink by mistake from my laptop. I tried different websites but I couldn't download it. It shows error 651 when i try to connect and I'm unable to fix it and I'm frustrated. My device is HP 1000-1205TX and the label under device shows Ralink Radio RT3290.
I would appreciate if you help me how can I fix it and send me the link to download required app as soon as possible.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Kind regards, Sara

Hi:
This is the latest W8.1 driver for the Ralink wifi adapter your notebook has...
5.0.50.0 Nov 4, 2014
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp69501-70000/sp69543.exe
What I suggest you do first is to go to the device manager, right click on the Ralink wifi adapter, select Uninstall and check the uninstall driver box.
Restart the PC, and install the driver I posted above.

You're very welcome, Sara.
Unfortunately, I don't have any other ideas you can try, other than to back up any files you don't want to lose onto a portable hard drive and see if doing a factory reset of the PC gets the wifi adapter to work again.
