Can you connect with an ethernet cable?

But it is possible that the Adapter has failed and needs replacing.

 

If you can download this somehow...

HP Wireless Button Driver

1.1.5.1 Rev.A4.7 MBJul 15, 2015Download

 

and give the name of the adapter, like

Intel or Realtek or.....
