Why are you trying to update to the "2020-fourth-month" version of Windows 10? That is an "old" version.
Download the latest version ("21H1") from: Get Windows 10 | Microsoft
and burn the image to DVD-writable media, or allow it to write the files to an "empty" 8GB (or larger) USB memory-stick.
Then, while Windows is running, browse the contents of the media.
Double-click to run the "setup.exe", to upgrade your version of Windows.
All your installed programs and your personal files will not be affected.

Hi...thanks for the reply...I have installed the latest version and the same thing is happening. Everything says I am connected to the internet but pages will not open in the browser and cannot connect to any of the update servers etc. I even tried connecting through a hot spot on my phone and the same problem.

- Hold-down the "Windows" key on your keyboard.
- Tap the "R" key.
- Release both keys.
- Into the new window, type CMD and press Enter.
- Into the new window, type IPCONFIG /ALL and press Enter.
- Use the Windows "Snipping Tool" to do a selective screen-capture.
- Show us the output, especially the "DNS" fields, by pasting-in the captured image.
