Hi Paul. I wasn't sure how to reach you directly by starting a new topic so I thought I'd give it a shot here. For over a year my internet connection (wireless) has been awfully slow. It has nothing to do with the location in the house because phone and tablets have perfect connection. Would updating the driver for my laptop's wireless network adapter resolve the issue? If so, would you be so kind to send me the link to the latest driver? My laptop product number is G0T55AV.
Thanks again!

Hi:
The parts list for your notebook indicates that it can come with one of 3 different wifi adapters.
http://partsurfer.hp.com/Search.aspx?searchText=G0T55AV
Which one does your notebook have?
Atheros AR9485 802.11b/g/n 1x1 WiFi adapter
Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160 802.11 ac 1x1
Broadcom BCM43142 802.11bgn 1x1
The only card that would possibly have a newer W10 driver than what you already have installed is the Intel one.
