For over a year I've had the issue of this laptop dropping connection to my wireless network (both 2.4 GHz and 5GHz). I will have a good connection for maybe 5 minutes and then it will drop. I will then have to re select my wireless network and connect to it again - it will re connect and then drop again 5 minutes later. I have tried updating the network adapter driver, rolling back the driver update, uninstalling the network adapted and re installing etc.. Nothing seems to work keeping the connection to my network. I have other laptops/phones/desktops/xbox series s/roku that use this network reliably on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz so I know that the issue is with this PC. I have read on these forums while researching this issue that the Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11ac PCIe Adapter is known for this. Are there any replacement options for this network adapter? This laptop is pretty new and it's basically unusable with this current issue. Any troubleshooting steps I'm missing here?

Hi:
Since I don't know what driver version you have installed, the only suggestion I can offer would be to install the latest driver HP has for that model Wi-Fi adapter, which is not on your notebook's support page.
