Brand new laptop. Fresh out of the box and trying to go through first time set-up.
Connected to wifi 1st time then system suggested i should run windows and various driver updates. Tried to re-connect to my wifi extender at home and couldn't.
Now hove no wifi options and diagnostics say the problem is as subject tile above.
Any quick fixes? Not too happy given i've been using this laptop for all of 1 hour.
TIA

Hi:
There is a probably a newer driver than what came with your notebook if you want to give it a try.
2024.0.10.221

That would be the only suggestion I can offer regarding the problem you are having.
The Realtek RTL8821CE is a lousy model wifi card and I have no idea why HP continues to use these cards in their PC's.
If you can't connect the PC with an ethernet cable, you will need to download the driver from another PC and copy it to a USB flash drive and install the driver that way.
