Hi - apologies for jumping in here with the same issue. I've tried to update the driver using the link you gave above but windows wont install it as it says I have the best driver installed.  Is there a simple way to get round this.

Cheers Ken

Hi, Ken:

If Windows is indicating the best driver is installed, then unfortunately there isn't anything you can do about it.

Do you have the same model Realtek RTL8852BE-VS Wi-Fi adapter?

What is the driver version and date of the currently installed driver?

HP Recommended

Same wifi adapter.

Driver version is 6001.15.156.0

Date 19/12/2024

Would it be worth uninstalling/reinstalling the device, do you think?

HP Recommended

You have the latest version currently available from HP, which is why you got the message you did.

You can try the latest driver from the ASUS gaming forum website which hasn't been released to HP yet:

Drivers - 8852BE : 6001.15.157.0 WHQL [04/02/2025]

[DRIVERS] Realtek Ethernet/WiFi/Bluetooth - Republic of Gamers Forum - 871130
