Hi @Petlex67

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Thanks for following up—I’m really sorry the Realtek RTL8852BE Wi-Fi 6 adapter is still refusing to connect. When previous instructions haven’t resolved it, and the adapter remains unresponsive or fails to connect, it often points to a driver conflict, power management issue, or corrupted network stack.

Let’s walk through a deeper recovery process to help restore connectivity:

Step-by-Step Fix for Realtek RTL8852BE Wi-Fi Adapter Not Connecting

1. Fully Remove and Reinstall the Driver

  • Press Windows + X, select Device Manager
  • Expand Network Adapters
  • Right-click Realtek RTL8852BE WiFi 6 802.11ax PCIe Adapter and choose Uninstall device
  • Check “Delete the driver software for this device” if available
  • Restart your laptop

This clears any corrupted driver remnants.

2. Install the Latest Driver Manually

This ensures compatibility with your system’s chipset and Windows version.

3. Reset Network Stack

  • Open Command Prompt as Administrator
  • Run these commands one by one:
    netsh winsock reset
    netsh int ip reset
    ipconfig /release
    ipconfig /renew
    ipconfig /flushdns

This clears any corrupted network configuration and refreshes IP settings.

4. Disable Power Saving for Wi-Fi Adapter

  • In Device Manager, right-click the Realtek adapter > Properties
  • Go to Power Management tab
  • Uncheck “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power”

This prevents the adapter from being disabled during sleep or idle states.

5. Check Wireless Services

  • Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter
  • Ensure these services are Running and set to Automatic:
    • WLAN AutoConfig
    • Network Connections
    • DHCP Client

These services are essential for wireless connectivity.

Let me know what happens after reinstalling the driver and resetting the network stack—I’ll guide you further based on that.

You’re doing everything right by staying persistent—I’ll stay with you until it’s resolved.
