I have an HP stream 11-ak0012dx model that pushed an update to Windows 10. After the update The realtek wireless LAN network adapter was missing. I have tried to download from another device and install but I haven't had any luck. Anyone have any suggestions??

Hi:
First try the hard reset option at the link below...read the procedure under notebooks with a sealed/non-removable battery.
HP Notebook PCs - How to Power Reset your Laptop | HP® Customer Support
If that doesn't work.
Go to the device manager.
At the top of the device manager click on the View tab and select the 'Show hidden devices' option.
Then see if the Realtek wifi adapter shows up in light shade in the device manager.
If it does, right click on it, select Uninstall, and check the uninstall driver box.
Restart the PC and see if Windows reinstalls the device so that it shows up normally.
