Microsoft Windows 11

I have a laptop that has a wireless issue using the correct protocol AX 6. If I am in the same room as the router my Xfiniti  Xfi router everything works well and my laptop connects with protocol AX 6, it is when I move further away from the router then my laptop connects using protocol 5 AC, which is very annoying, because it slows everything down. It is also annoying more, because this same issue is happening on another HP laptop that I own with an Intel AX200 Wi-Fi card. My laptop is patched with the latest as in today's patches and my laptop has the newest BIOS

My environment also has a Wifi extender that I forgot about it is a Xfinty wireless AX extender. I powered off the  extender and sure enough my laptop that is faraway from the router is using protocol 6 AX. I powered up the extender and bam my laptop is back to protocol 5 AC.

As it turns out the xfinity wifi extender is an AC3000 device lol.
