It seems like Realtek has problems with their wireless adapters. Is there a way to change adapters on my laptop? I have tried installing Intel, but I don't know the right way to install this properly. Please send help.

Hello @Ela115,

Thank you for reaching out. Regarding the issues you’re experiencing with your Realtek wireless adapter and your query about replacing it with an Intel adapter, we’d need a bit more information to provide the most accurate guidance. Please share your product name and serial number so we can check compatibility and provide device-specific instructions.

In the meantime, you can visit https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers to:

  • Check for the latest driver updates for your device

  • Review guides on supported wireless adapters

  • Learn how to install them safely

Please note that attempting to upgrade or replace the WLAN adapter on your own may not be covered under the standard warranty. It’s important to ensure the device is handled carefully to avoid potential damage.
